“by me” Project – UI/UX Design, Web System Development, and AI Engine & Data Analytics Provision
Our client is Lion Group, which specializes in providing a wide range of high-quality products useful for daily life, including personal hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, and nutritional supplements.
"by me" is a service that allows users to freely mix their favorite fragrance essences to create and purchase their own personalized fabric softener or facial mist. We have provided comprehensive support, from Vareal's unique UI/UX consulting incorporating design thinking to system building and artificial intelligence development.
💡 Challenges & Initiatives
In the development of artificial intelligence, creating AI tools is a key challenge. Challenges in this AI tool development phase include:
- Find correlational factors for preference recommendations
- Create artificial intelligence from limited data
- Reduce the number of questions to improve user experience.
To address the aforementioned issues, we have implemented the following measures.
- We will research and propose artificial intelligence algorithms that can reduce the number of questions.
- Conduct numerous online and offline user surveys.
- Review question content and structure to provide a more comfortable experience.
- Design a user-friendly interface tailored to the target audience.
We have conducted this process and, based on the results, have developed an artificial intelligence model to deliver a better user experience.
🚀 Initiatives at PoC
Online survey
We provided comprehensive support, from suggesting survey content to designing, developing, and operating a survey system tailored to the target audience. By building a specialized survey system, we improved the user experience and were able to smoothly collect the data our clients requested.
Offline survey
Leveraging our clients’ expertise, we recruited survey participants and collected data. By enabling data collection from users’ smartphones, we significantly reduced the effort required for offline data collection. From this survey data, we developed an AI model and, after building an AI tool with a certain degree of accuracy, conducted a Proof of Concept (PoC) test.
Launch the campaign
We conducted a user feedback campaign, developed, built, and operated a feedback system, and collected data.
Based on this data, our data scientists conducted analysis and created a report in consultation with the client.
Simultaneously, we verified the AI tool and user experience (UX), and developed, built, and operated an AI system with APIs that integrate with the services of other companies.
Finally, we compiled the results of the data analysis and visualization, along with the insights gained, future challenges, and recommendations, into a document of over 300 pages, including a summary for management.
Furthermore, we organized AI workshops for clients during the PoC (Proof of Concept) phase, helping them gain a deeper understanding of AI.
Clients also organize workshops about their business operations for our team members, allowing us to gain a better understanding of their business practices.
⚙️ Release Support
Based on feedback data obtained from the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, we built the AI model and handled everything from user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design to developing the AI diagnostic service “by me,” providing ongoing support until release. Currently, we also handle system operation and maintenance, and continue to support service improvements.
