A legacy Ruby/Rails system with 200k+ lines of code, hundreds of deprecated dependencies and insufficient test coverage β required migration to the latest version while ensuring zero downtime in production.

Used AI-assisted code analysis to map all deprecation points and breaking changes. Wrote an automated test suite prior to migration to create a safety net. Migration followed an incremental strategy: feature flags + blue-green deployment ensure instant rollback if issues arise.
